Rupal Maheshwari is an International Tax lawyer, based in Cologne, Germany.

In 2024, she joined Bayer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biomedical companies, headquartered in Germany. She is part of International Tax and Mergers & Acquisitions team.  

In her professional experience of 10+ years, Rupal has worked with Big Four firm and boutique tax firms in India and Netherlands in the direct taxation matters of international taxation, tax audit controversy, restructuring and tax policy. Rupal holds an Advanced LL.M. in international tax law from the University of Amsterdam (cum laude), Indian Chartered Accountant degree along with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce (University of Delhi).
