International Tax Law, Past, Present and Future – A Seminar to Mark the Retirement of Joanna Wheeler

At the end of March 2025, Joanna Wheeler, Senior Principal Associate in IBFD’s Academic Department, will retire after an impressive career spanning over 40 years with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD). Throughout her time with us, Joanna has held numerous roles and contributed to a wide array of projects in the field of international tax law.

A seminar to mark the retirement of Joanna Wheeler was held at IBFD (Amsterdam, Netherlands) on 7 February 2025.

The UvA Alumni Association is glad to have joined, with some representatives, the event to celebrate Joanna.

Joanna has been the person who initiated the Advanced Master’s (LL.M.) in International Taxation and, therefore, cherished in the hearts and minds of all Tax LL.M. Alumni.
